butter Pecan pound cake

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Optional glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk
