Dark Romance Chocolate Blackberry Cake



Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Remove the cakes from the oven and allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Prepare the Chocolate Ganache:

In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl, then pour the hot cream over the chocolate. Assemble the Cake:

Once the cakes are completely cool, spread a layer of chocolate ganache between the cake layers. Spread more ganache on top of the cake and smooth it out.

Decorate with fresh blackberries and edible flowers, if desired.
