Do guests often come to you and bring you cake for tea? If you’ve been throwing away plastic boxes before, you can put them to good use. They make cute and original decorative items: flowerpots, pots, baskets, etc.
We offer another interesting idea on how to use cake boxes usefully and wisely. To do this you will need a large piece of burlap, a glue gun and rope.
Spread the burlap on the table and place the cake lid in the middle of the piece (top down). Coat it with hot glue from the inside around the circumference. Fold the edges of the burlap, gluing them to the inside of the lid. Carefully straighten the folds; excess “tails” can be trimmed. The fabric should lie evenly.
