One-Skillet Cabbage Roll Casserole!


First Step: Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat. Add the garlic during the last minute of cooking. Drain the excess fat.
Second Step: In the same skillet, combine the shredded cabbage, chopped onion, tomato sauce, beef broth, rice, salt, and pepper. Stir well to mix. Return the browned beef to the skillet and mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Third Step: Spread the mixture evenly in the skillet. Optionally, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Cover with aluminum foil.
Fourth Step: Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil, stir the mixture, and continue baking uncovered for an additional 15-30 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the cabbage is tender.
