Tried this out twice and it was a hit on both occasions! Eager to make it once more.

A medium-sized onion, coarsely diced; two cloves of minced garlic; one tablespoon of olive oil
– Ground beef, 1 lb.
1-Teaspoon of Italian seasoning-Salt and pepper to taste
1-jar marinara sauce (24 oz.)
– One package of frozen cheese ravioli (25 ounces) – One container of whole milk ricotta cheese (15 ounces) – One big egg – Two teaspoons of freshly chopped parsley (plus extra for decoration) – One large egg
Two cups of cheese, one of grated Parmesan and three cups of shredded mozzarella
What to do
1. In a skillet set over medium heat, warm the olive oil. Soften the onion and garlic by sautéing them with the garlic. Before browning, add ground beef and season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove any surplus of fat before combining with the marinara sauce. Take off the stove.
2. Combine the ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, and a bit of salt and pepper in a separate bowl and stir until thoroughly mixed.

Third, coat the base of the slow cooker with a thin coating of the meat and sauce mixture.
Fourth, spread half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce. Then, cover with half of the ricotta mixture. Top with half of the mozzarella. Finally, sprinkle with Parmesan.
Fifth, stack the layers again, finishing with a liberal amount of Parmesan and mozzarella.
6. Simmer covered for four to six hours on low heat, or until ravioli is soft and cheese is bubbling.
Serve with extra chopped parsley as a garnish.
Substitute ground turkey for the beef for a leaner version; see also tips and variations.
For an additional serving of vegetables, feel free to layer in some spinach or mushrooms. If you’re a fan of a little heat, try adding a teaspoon of red chili flakes to the beef mixture.
– You may store leftovers in the fridge and enjoy them the following day without any change. Put it back in the oven or microwave to warm it up.
