Deep fried sliced mushrooms with ranch

Directions:

In a shallow bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Pour the buttermilk into another shallow bowl.
Dip the sliced mushrooms into the buttermilk, then dredge them in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully add the coated mushrooms to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the fryer. Fry for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried mushrooms to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Serve the deep-fried mushrooms immediately with ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
